Unfortunately I have to report it didn't help me.
It mentions two EPP standards (1.7 and 1.9), and that "there are
differences between these two standards which may affect the operation
of devices. This is further discussed later". I couldn't find that
"later", so I'm still in the dark how I should be setting up my BIOS (I
think I've tried all my BIOS permutations now anyway).

Has anyone actually got OpenOCD / Jtag Acceleror working ?

I'd really prefer not to have to debug the debugger. The Amontec
documentation looks pretty thorough, but I'd rather not have to go there
(128 pages directed at a debugger developer audience); I have so much of
my own code I need to spend time debugging ! Am I expecting too much ?
Should I throw the Chameleon away and buy a USB JTAG device (but then,
the OpenOcd compatible version is made by Amontec too!) ?

Frustrated,
Bruce

FWIW, it works OK with the CrossWorks debugger.
