Keil MCB2100 board

Keil MCB2100 board

2004-04-19 by Michael J. Pont

There has been some discussion about the Keil MCB2100 board in the last day
or so.

I've been using the Keil MCB2100 boards from Keil for several months.
Except for the CAN (which seems to be problematic - because of a chip
"feature", not a board issue), this has been fine.

I got the boards from Hitex (UK). They were listed on the Hitex WWW site
last time I looked (along with numerous other ARM boards). www.hitex.co.uk

I paid less than Stlg 100.00 / board (including tax and shipping) - about
$150 (US).

I've been using this with the Keil / GCC tools (free evaluation version),
and using the Philips ISP software for downloading (I have a Keil ULink JTAG
connector, but have not yet made much use of this).

This combination is very cheap, and has worked well for me. (I've also used
the same setup with classes of students, again without any problems).

Michael.

Thanks Michael, I'll compare to others and see what transpires.
But it's good to hear your pos experience with the Keil board.
