Charles, BTW I found your earlier post about a month ago on checking the TEPT vs THRE register extremely helpful. I had been putting off clocking my 485 TxEn but tried your suggestion and with adding a small time delay after TEPT had it working nicely in an hour the next AM. Thanks again, Mike
