LPC2000 ARM Tools UK 1 Day Workshop - Attendees Receive A Free Keil MCB2100

2004-06-14 by chris_davies00

ARM 32bit Philips LPC Tools Workshop.
Arrow Electronics, Philips Semiconductor and Hitex, invite UK
customers to a 32bit ARM Seminar.

The ARM workshop focusses on delivering a `hands-on' experience to
customers interested in development with an ARM based micro-
controller.

Customers will receive an introduction to the Philips range of low-
cost, high performance LPC2000 family, followed by expert training on
the ARM core and it's associated development tools.

Trevor Martin of Hitex, will use the Keil MCB2100 board to
demonstrate application examples and help you build up the knowledge,
confidence and experience to immediately begin development with a
Philips LPC2000 ARM micro-controller. All customers attending the day
will be given a FREE MCB2100 board plus ULink.

Has anybody signed up to one of these and received any kind of
confirmation that they've successfully booked? Admittedly I did say no
to the question 'Can we contact you?' but I thought that meant 'Can we
contact you in the future and try to sell you stuff?' not 'Can we drop
you an email to confirm that you're definitely booked in?'. Also since
it didn't ask me to pay when I booked I presume it's pay on the day?

FWIW I intend to go to the Bolton seminar and hope to meet some of you
there.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer

Hello,

Have just attended the ARROW /Philips Seminar in
Reading 22/06/04. It was very good , especially
Hitex's Trevor Martin who presented his normal 2 day
training course in 5 hours. It's worth going just
for the LPC2129 dev kit with USB JTAG interface.

Tools used are Keil ARM suite, Uvision Front end
GNU tool back end. Excellent simulator.

I recommend it, check it out next one in Bolton.

Cheers

Andrew Watson
