Maximum voltage of X1 is VDD 1.8 ?

Maximum voltage of X1 is VDD 1.8 ?

2003-12-21 by capiman@t-online.de

Hello,

i want to feed in an external clock into X1.
I found in an data sheet that maximum voltage is VDD 1.8 for input pin X1.
Is this correct also for an external oscillator ?
Has someone experience on this ?

Greetings,

            Martin

This is mentioned in the User Manual on page 39 - use a 100 pF coupling
capacitor with an oscillator signal of at least 200 mV RMS.
