Greetings all,

Philips seems to be offering samples in two different packages.  
Would somebody (Leon?) plz indicate which is compatible with Leon's 
PC board design?  Also -- any pointers to URLs that explain packaging 
types  (or how the hobbiest can work with same) would be greatly 
appreciated.

I'm using the LPQF48 devices: they have 0.5 mm lead spacing. You need
good eyesight and some magnification, and a fine-tip soldering iron to
solder them. A stereo zoom microscope is ideal but they are expensive.
