Expensive though, at over 17 GBP for small quantitities.

Cool. Let's hope a few other small quantity distributors follow suit and 
the prices come down to a more sensible level.

What is the RS Stock Number ? I only find some Sharp ARM MCUs on their web site.

Unfortunately, it is not that simple.  Vendors don't sell electronic
components like 7-11 sells soda pop.  It is up to the manufacturer to
approve a vendor to distribute their product.  If you want
distributors to sell the Philips chips, you should talk to Philips.  I
am surprised that they have not worked to distribute through Digikey.
 They are used by many companies for smaller volume prototype and
pilot production purchases.

I'm pretty sure somebody from philips_apps already said on this list that
they would like Digikey to stock the LPC900 and LPC2000 lines, but it was
up to Digikey not Philips.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
