Incompatibilities between IAR Kickstart and EMBEST IDE

Incompatibilities between IAR Kickstart and EMBEST IDE

2005-03-02 by magorecpe

Hello All,

I am having incompatibility problems with Embest UnetICE and IAR LPC
Kickstart development suite for LPC2106 (the board with LPC2106).

The IDE (embest) was not recognizing the JTAG until i changed 2
pull-down resistor do pull-up. Now i get communication error inside
Flash Programmer and IDE.

The LPC is connected to JTAG via a 74244 buffer with pull-up
resistors of 512Kohm (on the LPC side).

Did anybody had a similar problem? What is the solution?

For which jtag signal did you change pull-down?
On the UNetICE Manual is reccomended to:
pull-up TMS
pull-up or pull-down TDI, TCK, nSRST

Hi,

TCK and TRST were pulled down and i pulled them up and no success.
i removed a driver IC (74244) and made some bypasses so that the arm
signals got directly to jtag connectors.
I keep having errors with Embest IDE.

Is there any update for Unetice?

UnetICE seems to work correctly with ARM9.
