is it possible to use the I2C in high speed mode (3.4MHz) ?

Arvid,

afaik the 3.4 Mbit spec is rather different than the 400 kbit spec.
There is nothing in the LPC2129 I2C documentation that would indicate
3.4 Mbit.
Pretty sur ethis is a no.
