re: Flash Utility

re: Flash Utility

Hello all. Hope everyone is good!

:)

I have a quick question, I am writing a flash utility for the LPC2124
and LPC2138 parts for Linux. I have gotten everything done, except one
part where I am a little confused on...

When I write uuencoded data to the micro (that is sending data to the
micro), do I required the following:

data<cr><lf>

If so then, if i am doing it write I believe, and I get the data echo'ed
back to me (I didn't turn off echo, thats why).

After the twenty lines of uuencoded data being sent i send the crc
(which is just the adding of the raw bytes of all the twenty lines. But
when I do the following:

crc<cr><lf>

I get the RESEND<cr><lf> back...any ideas why????

Thanks a million.

Take a look the Martin Maurer's LPC21ISP utility or the GTK based utility
by Paul Stoffregen. They both work and I know the LPC21ISP utility is
being expanded to cover more variants (there are some modified versions
available on Martins site). There's a link in the links section of the
group I believe or There's a link from my site (see below).
