PCI BUS INTERFACING TO LPC2292

PCI BUS INTERFACING TO LPC2292

2005-07-30 by priya phule

Hello all,

I am working on project “Serial communication card on PCI Bus”.

I will be grateful to you if you help me regarding the project.

We are planning to use a PCI Bus controller chip PCI 9056 (PLX TECHNOLOGY).

Our card will be slave device and master will send command to local CPU (in our case LPC 2292) through PCI 9056.

As add lines of LPC 2292 are unidirectional, can anyone suggest me the solution so that LPC 2292 will respond to both read and write command from the external master? (say using some memory logic inbetween)

How can I use EMC in this case?

Priya

Interrupt-Driven I2C Problem

2005-07-30 by James Dabbs

I have implemented an interrupt-driven I2C module for master mode send
and receive. It works fine, EXCEPT that when I issue a STOP at the end
of a transaction, I get an interrupt with a status code 0x08, just like
I've issued a start. Any idea what's going on?

Thanks.
