LPC2148 SPI SCK

LPC2148 SPI SCK

2005-09-02 by medwar19@hotmail.com

Hello,

Thanks for the quick response and information, I had noticed that there was a FIFO on the SSP but was wondering how big it was (the manual doesn't mention). Much appreciated!

Will try your suggestions over the weekend and report back.

Any thoughts on the SPI0 clock? It seemed unlikely that such a fundimental feature of the chip would not work but try as I did for hours I could not get an output on the SCK line? Read about a bug on previous devices that needed pull ups on SSEL0 but have done this and still no SCK...

Does the SPI0 module disable itself under fault conditions (such as collision or overrun)? I cant believe the SPI0 just doesn't work. Must be a bit in a register somewhere....

Best regards,

Malcom.
