hi,

I'm writing my one bootloader. My bootloader take code througt the UART 
and program the external flash.  So i need myproject.hex. The .hex file 
exist but he is empty, the information seems to be in myproject.elf.


Is it possible to have the .hex file (with Keil) without the .elf 
file.  And how is the file format?

Hi Alexandre,

you can generate the hex file from your code. make sure you have
selected "generate hex-file" under the TOOL OPTIONS - OUTPUT. The file
who keil generated is an Intel Hex File (try a simple search as
google: eg. intel hex file) and you will find converters and documents
about this.
