is CAN on LPC usable?

is CAN on LPC usable?

2005-10-04 by Gus

Guys,

Did Philips finally say something about the CAN issue with extended
frames? Someone talked about it here but Philips didn't seem to want
to add ti to the errata!

Is there a work around for the problem? We must use extended frames
for this application.

Thanks,

Gus

Gus,

help me out, which CAN issue with extended frames? The Errata Sheet
for LPC21x9 or the other devices with CAN lists the known issues.

Besides that, the CAN is going to be fixed, all problems will be gone.
Ramping up the fixed silicon is expected for Q1/06

hth, Robert

someone on the list said that there is a problem where if an
extended frame lost arbitration, it will get corrupted! He also said
that he confirmed the problem with philips but it is not in the
errata!

Is this correct?
