2005-10-16 by Mukadder Ceyhan

Hi everbody!

Have Anybody tried to use GNU-ARM toolset with Keil
ARM development toolset.Does this need a permanent
license?

Any tutorial will be helpful!

And also I wonder that USB-JLINK debugger for IAR is
compatible with Keil?

Thanks in advance...

Chapter 6 of the online book at
http://www.hitex.co.uk/arm/lpc2000book/ is a tutorial of using Keil
with the GNU tools. I personally have not tried the GNU tools but I
found this book very readable and useful. It is free to view on
screen or a printable version is available pretty cheap.

Hi,
if you are planning to do commercial development, you will need a
Debugger Kit licence for Keil \ufffdVision. Otherwise you may use the
16k-limited evaluation version.
In contrast to the Professional Developer Kit the Debugger Kit does not
include the Keil CARM compiler and the ARTX RTOS Kernel.
