ASSP

Hi,

My question is very simple :

What do you think about ASSP ?

==> http://assp.sourceforge.net/

It seems to be a powerfull product with a whitelist/greylist and an
anti-spam integrated.

I already have milter-greylist on my server but I must add an
anti-spam like spamassassin.

What is the best solution ?

I believe in seperating functionality out with my
email server. That way seems more robust and more
stable.

Right now, I have setup:
   dnsbl in sendmail
   milter-greylist in sendmail
   clamav-milter in sendmail
   homemade ruleset in sendmail
   homemade recipies in procmail
   spamassasin calls in procmail
   bogofilter calls in procmail
(the spamassasin is setup to look just at format, not
content of the emails)

Very few spams get through to users and no virii.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
