That should work like that. The only pitfall I can think of is to run
configure with a different --with-user.

I try to maintain a full backward compatibility so that a new version
can be dropped in place of the previous one without any mandatroy change
to the config and database files.

Just let milter-greylist clean the junk, it removes expired entry when
it sees them.

When searching the database for a tuple. Of course when we find the
tuple, we stop searching and the following expired tuples are not
flushed. But we'll toss them later.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
