Ok, Lets talk about slow in the head. Once upon a time, I wanted to build a modular synth. I ordered some rather nice kits from Synthtech, and through a miracle of UPS, they arrived. I carefully looked at the Synth-Tech web site. It had a lovely list of "buy me before you start" stuff. Heck, I have done electronics projects before, so some of it I had. But I went and made sure I had everything before I started. But I was stuck finding the solder on a rainy Southern California afternoon (anyone see the problem yet). I was down, for in my limited Dodo mind, I lacked the solder to construct the first parts of my beast. So I opened up my MOTM-900. Vowing to solder the small number of joints using the spool of "no clean up" that I did find. So there in a little bag is some solder. At this point, I am flabbergasted. I check the other kits, hell... they have solder in them too. I have been looking for 2 days for this stuff. Guess I am too careful, I was not going to risk losing anything before I started building, so I left everything in their little bags. So yes, now I know that solder comes with the kit. I am now enjoying myself. Bruce
