I'd be willing to bet that most subscribers would want the 500's as
well. I mean, if this list is any representation of the whole
subscriber community, we're not a particularly mainstream bunch...

I think that a lot of us use the MOTM specifically for the more
bizarroworld end of synthesis. Not that MOTM doesn't make a terrific
conventional synth by any means, I've been patching some really nice
bass sounds using the 440 lately. In fact, you could probably make a
really kickass monosynth from boards you've already designed, and not
having heard the Moog unit, I'd still bet yours would be the better
unit (and probably cheaper).

So don't worry about being musically useful. We'll make some music
with whatever you put out (perhaps with a pretty liberal definition
of the word "music"). I like being challenged to figure out how to
use a new module. For instance, I had no idea how I'd use a MiniWave
based on the descriptions from Wiard and Blacet. But I knew Grant and
John well enough to trust that it would be something cool, and got
one. Same with the Dark Star. And I trust your designs enough to know
that if you think a module's interesting, I will too! I know that
when I heard the 6-way ringmod demo, I was hearing sounds that I
wanted to make!
