I would be interested in hearing the technical details behind the surge 
protector problem sometime.

Personally, I use a Surge-X and regular power strips (without MOV's) plugged 
into that.  But the Surge-X is a whole different beast.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
