I had day off yesterday AND the house to myself (wife at work, kids in school). So I broke out the soldering iron! There\u2019s no better more relaxing way to spend that kind of day!
I finished my MOTM 310! Works perfectly and sounds great! I used the Tuner method (a little Korg CA-20) to calibrate, it zero\u2019d right in! It\u2019s a great little module\u2026
I also finished my MiniWave (finally)!!! And it works!!!
I used John217;s instructions for most of it (I was 90% done before Larry posted his instructions, OK I\u2019m s l o w).
I\u2019ve seen a couple of negative comments on John\u2019s instructions on the list. Now that I\u2019ve used both John\u2019s and Paul\u2019s (successfully) I\u2019d have to say that John\u2019s instructions are actually good, they just tend to be written to someone who has some electronics experience. All the information you need is there, you just have to read carefully and think a little harder.
I used Larry\u2019s instructions to verify my work before I dared plug it in. It was really nice to have the \u2018Paul\u2019 style to refer back to just to make sure. It really boosted my confidence level just to know that I got it right!!! Thanks Larry!!!
Well, I have 2 hours before I have to go back to work (grumble grumble)\u2026 I think I\u2019ll go experiment with the PWM on the 310 and make some noise!!!
