A couple of weeks ago, I recommended a some minor changes to part values for
those of you who have not built your 822 or 831 modules yet.  I also made a
discovery of full rotation switches in the Mouser catalog that were not
there before.

I have just completed a complete revision to ALL 822 documentation from the
ground up including parts lists, assembly instructions, calibration
documents and rotary switch issues.  Everything is uploaded and ready for
your consumption if you are about to assemble your 822 module.  The old
versions of assembly instructions are still available too for those that
have purchased parts and want to assemble without making the changes.

It will be another week before I finish the 831 documentation.   Since the
831 is officially out of production (PCBs have been sold out for 6 months
and I am not making more) changes may be less permanent / pretty since I
eventually plan to retire 831 documents from my website.

If you have already build and successfully calibrated your 822 and / or
831s, these changes are not recommended. They do not improve the modules in
any way.  However, I am running into some part tolerance issues with
trimmers and such, and these changes give more latitude in the adjustments
when calibrating.

P.S. Speaking of 310s.... I do have a planned modification to decrease the
range of the fine tune knob in a similar fashion to what I did on the 300 as
documented here  http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/mods/300mod.htm  But
first, I wanted to get one built and see what the actual range on the stock
310 is.  It is also a "connect resistor to via holes, cut one trace"
solution.
