Well, I get no returned calls from the person who Todd was staying with
before he checked out to Japan.  However, I was able to locate and speak
with his parents.  He is indeed in Japan and that was not just a "story."  I
left my name and number with a request to pass along to Todd the next time
they spoke with him that I need to talk to him.

If I don't hear back in about a week, I am going to ask for an address and
write Todd outlining a very detailed plan for me to get hold of everyone's
stuff and do his shipping myself.  I offered to do this more than once
before.  I am surprised when he found out he was going to Japan he did not
take me up on that offer.  If I am successful getting in touch, I intend to
insist.

So, since some of you have asked what I knew, I thought I would pass this
along.  I would also like to take this opportunity to say that while I am
making an effort to get hold of Todd because he is not taking care of his
business, that he is not a business associate of Dave and I.  He purchased
panels and brackets from us for his kits that he apparently still has.

While we are on this subject, I would like to report that another former
member on this list, DAVID HALLIDAY, has apparently accepted money for chips
from another DIYer and for months now has failed to deliver them.  I was
lucky enough to have contact information for him since he purchased a Stooge
panel in the very beginning.  I called him on the phone and he has been "too
busy" to ship the parts out but promised to do so right away.  Of course,
that did not happen.  So, I will suggest that this is a person who one might
NOT want to do business with.
