MOTM

I just finished "MOTM-izing" my Darkstar kit. Unfortunately I must have
fouled up somewhere along the line....
    I took the gate out from my sequencer (Mobius), and all I hear is a
scratchy noise type sound. It gates properly, but the knobs and other jacks
have NO EFFECT!! Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
    Just for the record, I originally had the Blacet knobs in the board but
removed them before converting it to MOTM format. Could I have ruined the
pads? I have basic knowledge of converting Blacet stuff as I just
successfully finished my Miniwave conversion (thanks to Larry's web page!!)
Any help would be appreciated.
