I've been using a MW as a quantizer for almost a month now and despite the 8 bit math saying otherwise, I haven't yet found an instance where the slight error was objectionable nor even noticeable. If you plan to use your MOTM as a digital accurate reference oscillator, then the quantizing error will be noticeable as a slow beating on some notes (some notes beat more than others). But in actual use as an analogue synth (with three oscillators tracking each other, LFOs plugged into the FM and PWM inputs, and a delay unit adding a final chorus), a few cents of quantizing error is irrelevant.
