Everything is plugged into the same power strip and
that power strip is new and works just fine for my other
gear.

outlet (or outlet strip)? If not, it could be that a wall outlet is wired
improperly. Are all plugs three-prong or polarized types? If not, possibly
one (or more) of the two-prong non-polarized plugs need to be reversed, or
maybe you have a defective outlet strip.
