Yeah, the first Synergy album has a great version of "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue." Supposedly, Amin Bhatia's excellent "Interstellar Suite" was to be released on CD some time ago. It was his soundtrack to an imaginary sci-fi film, a tribute to Tomita, Carlos, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, etc. Really nice. For simple-but-scary stuff, the soundtrack to the Halloween movies, especially "Halloween III," is nice. I'm surprised that Pat Gleeson's "Four Seasons" and "The Planets" haven't made it to CD, especially since the former was DDD -- straight from a Synclavier. But the latter was done on a EMu modular. In an interview at the time, he pretty much took credit for FM synthesis with that album. Carlos wrote the liner notes for it and there is a veiled 'slam' at Tomita in them
