Bob James also did a beautiful realization of several Scarlatti pieces, integrating synths with acoustic piano. It was my favorite tape for a long time. It's called The Scarlatti Dialogues; I don't think it's available on CD (if it is, please let me know). I didn't know about the Rameau album; thanks for mentioning it. nate
