I'm wondering if anybody knows of any PC freeware that will both sweep sinewaves through the audio spectrum and simultaneously record the result back into the computer and plot the results? I can find tons of sweep generators that only do the first half. The only one that might do the second part is some old DOS thing that runs on low res VGA display. Is there any Windows based equivilant? Up to now I've been running white noise through the items of interest and using Sound Forges spectrum analysis to view the results. It works pretty well, but the plot is crude and coarse compared to what I want (something like Paul's filter plots) BTW, in my searching I found the following site that contains all kinds of free electronics and scientific software: http://users.pandora.be/educypedia/electronics/easoftware.htm -Elhardt
