They are a 2nd-order lowpass filter, using the 10mfd caps there by the power connector. They are used to filter out AM and FM radio stations and other RFI (radio Frequency Interference) from say 100Khz to 100Mhz.

I just found (to my surprise) that Active carries those ferrite beads
that we see on all the MOTM modules.
