Is there a significant technical challenge in making an A/D - D/A interface that's accurate down into the DC range, in addition to sounding good for audio? The market for this is tiny, isn't it? I know there are a lot of products for industrial data collection, but they certainly don't have ASIO drivers, and probably do not pass much in the way of hi-fi. Good idea, though. I did a record a while back with a frankenthing that was a PC running Reaktor all wired up with an ARP 2600 and a few other gizmos. 8 channels of audio back and forth and 24 CV out. CV back into the PC was the weak link. The sounds were great, but it sure was a lot of work to keep track of patches that were half analog, half code. --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, Tobias Enhus <tobias@m...> wrote: > Well, I'm investigating the "Frankenstein" option.
