I guessed the same thing awhile ago, and it turns out that they don't make a
combo XLR/TRS output jack. If you pick up a TRS plug and an XLR output jack,
you'll immediately discover why they don't make a combo: there isn't enough
room between the XLR's pins for a 1/4" plug.
