WHAAaaaa?  No way! I'm the *last* person you will find advocating the 
osc>filt>VCA thing.  It has to do with standards and being able to 
find things. Group things in sections; use them as you like.

Seriously, anybody who understands modular synthesis could walk up to 
my rig and instantly start patching--and have. 

It's all about efficiency...
