My opinion is a second VCO goes a long way before a second EG for harder synth sounds just because of hard synth and interval tuning. And, when you get uVCO, you can start thinking about a Miniwave. :) But, for acoustic sounds, the second EG so you have more control of VCO VCF and VCA envelopes might make more sense. But, I'm just a stooge and am terribly at making any decent acoustic sounds with mine. We have some other local experts on that subject. But, hard sync is almost like having another filter. :) Larry ----- Original Message ----- From: David Moylan <dave@...> To: MOTM List <motm@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 30, 2004 1:44 PM Subject: [motm] Module choice - second VCO or second EG. What are your opinions on the order to pickup these two modules? Second VCO (micro) first or second EG? Thanks. PS. Chub, I emailed you about joysticks. Did it get through? Dave Moylan Yahoo!
