I agree. At AHMW, we had Crow's prototype 485 (not in aggressive tweak
yet), and a 480. I was able to compare them extensively. The 480 WAS
smoother - it did indeed have that "Bladerunner" quality to it. (There
was also a real CS-80 in the room - what fun!)
