100K pots should work fine. If the WET/DRY mix pot (R6) is 100K, the output level will be slightly higher. I would try it and see. Making R28 smaller would compensate. My regen pot (R2) does not have a detent and it isn't a problem. I was planning to use 100K pots in my Time Machines, but because they were out of stock I bought 50K Vishay/Spectrol 149-71503. -Richard Brewster Don Ojeman wrote: >This week I have time to assemble my Blacet Time >Machine and Dark Star to MOTM format. > >I have a question on what linear pots to use I have >look over the parts list on Dave's hotrodmotm site, >Bourns #91A1A-B24-B18 50k CP Pot @20% , I would like >to use Vishays Spectrols #149-09-10-104, 100k cermet >@10%.. the Spectrol 50k pot are only 1/8" shaft the >alco knobs are MOTM Standard 1/4" as you know. >I like low tolorance and ppm, If I use 100k pots will >there be a big change on the delay effects and other >unmatched effects?, Do I need the Detent on one of the >pots? >The question is 50k vs 100k pots in the TM circuit >what should I do I will be ordering the pots, thanks >Larry the panels and brackets are great. > >DonSynth... > > > > >
