I have to agree with Mike on all counts. I've got eight 300s built, 
and four 310s (not built). But I'm still itching for the 520 (cloud 
generator). Too many oscillators, no chancey. Same with the UEG, I've 
got four. I use them as envelope generators, weird LFOS, and mini 
sequencers. They're fab. I've got a couple of Equinoxes. I recommend 
having two so you can do stereo-ish effects by using a common LFO 
(inverted and non-inverted). But you don't need to sweep a phasor to 
get interesting effects. With the Emphasis cranked up you can get 
some great peak/notch filtering going on, great for simulating 
resonant cavities (like the inside of a frog's mouth).
