a) Crazy last 10 days. My sheet metal shop gave be 3 days notice that they were
moving and had to close down for *4 to 6 weeks*. So, I had to abandon shipping
VCO kits and get the '650 and '730 sheet metal drawings done. Then, the PEM
standoffs I picked were "special order only" so I had to make up custom spacers
(for production I'll use off-the-shelf spacers from Keystone). Throw in the
distraction of the wife unit remodeling the bathroom and 19 people over today
for Easter....you get the idea.

The panels are supposed to be ready by Tuesday, so I can lay out production pc
boards.

b) I will get back to shipping VCO/Power supplies later in the week. Paul H. is
returning from his daughter's Spring Break this week and there are a few kits
waiting for his return. And, I have a stack of CEM chips I need to ship too. No
shortage of things to do at MOTM manor.

c) I can't remember if I posted this: Robert Rich was badly cut last week on his
right wrist. He was carrying a large glass wine jug down concrete stairs,
tripped, and tried amateur amputation. He is having 2nd round of operations this
week to repair tendon damage, and sadly he will be unable to use his right hand
fully for *1 year*.

d) I'm taking the first set of pcb/parts to my new contract assembler tomorrow.
I have high hopes that they will be able to solder all of the pcbs needed to
fulfill the assembled backlog. I am starting easy ('800s and '510s) and if they
do OK then they will get a big batch of '300s :)

It will take about 8 weeks for them to produce the *pc boards*, I still
personally do all the wiring/testing. So, it will be July/August until I'm all
caught up there. Also, there are new modules released concurrently, so please
sit tight and eventually (just like the kits) it will be gone.
