Don't use FedEx either.  Last time I checked, they were charging a flat US$50 brokerage fee on top of the GST & PST.  One time they hit us w/ a $200 customs charge, by assessing $150 in GST & PST on a $199 item.  This was because they taxed the insured value, which covered a pcb which had originated in Canada, was shipped to the US for repair/modification, and was thus exempt from the tax.  Idiots.

We've been shipping Europa upgrades to Canada via USPS for a few years w/ no problems.
