PRTOTYPE stuff copied below: Got the prototype up and running. Picture of the prototype pc board running here: www.synthtech.com/pix/m730_pcb.jpg Here is a logic analyzer showing some of the outputs being divided from 2 to 8: www.synthtech.com/pix/m730_out.jpg The VC-Div also has an 8-step CV output that increments in 4ths/5ths/octaves for pseudo-melodic sequences or use it for a "sawtooth" output (at 1/8th the input). The CV Divide output is independent from the bank of 'fixed' dividers, and can vary from 2 to 33. There is also 2 more operating modes: a "half-divide" from 1 to 16.5 and a Pulse Output mode, that the dividers switch from a square output to a fixed 3ms positive-going pulse output. This is useful for triggering EGs and syncing LFOs. David Brown's Page (Beta tester) http://modularsynthesis.com/modules/motm/730/MOTM-730.htm Robert Rich Demo: 11 real-time MOTM modular voices (with some digital delay) all driven by the MOTM-730 VC Pulse divider prototype. No MIDI, no sequencers, just a LFO for the 'master tempo'. The '730 is used to trigger the EGs and has a stepped CV out driving filter cutoffs across 4 of the voices. www.synthtech.com/demo/rr_motm730_1.mp3 Paul S.
