Make a standard 2 VCO voice patch - VCOs -> VCF -> VCA, your kbd controls both VCO pitches, and gates two EGs. EG1 patched to VCA control, EG2 patched to VCO2 FM in. Exp or Lin, doesn't really matter although Exp will probably give you a wider sweep. Patch another output of VCO1 to the sync input of VCO2. It's best if you use pulse or saw out of VCO1 for this. Set sync switch on VCO2 to HARD. The tuning of VCO1 will control the perceived pitch of the sound. The tuning of VCO2 will control the sync "growl". VCO2 will be tuned a couple of octaves higher. Grab the COARSE knob for VCO2 and sweep it and you should hear the characteristic hard sync sound. To automate that, turn up the FM input to feed some envelope sweep to the pitch of VCO2. That's all there is to it! Moe
