Well, my goal is to have a box built of two sections which can be latched together for transport then opened up and latched into 'play mode', sort of like an EML-101. I want it to be pretty portable, so 16U (I decided to bump it up one) will help keep the weight down, relatively. I also wanted to keep the height down so I'm not hidden behind the synth and can easily see any one else I might be playing with. I already have an SKB pop up that I'm going to keep and fill as finance allows, so if I want to bring that along I can. Design is about compromise. Anyway, discussion of the format is now moot. I've already built the main box sections. I've gotten some insightful suggestions on module choices. The starting point now is going to be 1 Encore UEG 2 space 1 300 VCO 2 space 1 320 VCLFO 2 space (with switch to up freq range) 1 310 uVCO 1 space 1 QLFO 1 space 1 uVCF 1 space 3 EG 3 space 1 VCA/RM 2 space 1 Blacet TM 2 space I currently have all of these modules minus the UEG and 300. These are first on my list of new acquisitions. I'll probably go for the UEG first since I love a step sequencer, then the 300, then I'll probably replace the VCA/RM with the uVCA to increase room for another filter to be determined. The "rejects" will go to the SKB. Dave Michael Zacherl (aka TonTaub) wrote: > David Moylan wrote: > >> Great. Where am I supposed to put that?
