That was not the intention. The intention was to point out that it takes another $50 in new pots, jacks, and such to bring one up to the standard of quality we all enjoy with MOTM. I own two of the Blacet modules, as I was curious as to how they were. No offense to those that built them stock. I just couldn't do it. My hatred for mini-phone jacks is only surpassed by old PAiA style 4700 pin jacks. And, the dang knobs are just too close together. > PAiA 9700 too! I have two of the PAiA MID2CV8s from the 9700 series. I was NOT impressed. I waited two years for them to come out. Then, once I found MOTM, ended up getting a Kenton anyway. However, they were worth what I paid for them. > Personally, I find the Blacet modules to be an excellent > addition to my studio although nowhere near as road > worthy as MOTM. I would not disagree with this. I think I will find a niche for the two Blacet modules I have. > I also agree with Paul about using the LFO and its shape features with the > 110 Ring Mod. Thanks again for listening, These are great ideas for a modular-stupid guy like me. Keep 'em coming. I'm taking notes. Larry (modular-on-stooge) Hendry
