Let me go this one further: Since it's been pointed out that this needs to be a 2u module *anyway* to fit all the knobs & jacks (unless you cut it down to three attenuators), lets add some stuff to it. How about this setup: 4 reversible attenuating pots (for signal or CV) 4 inputs (one for each pot) 4 outputs, ditto Mode switch The mode switch could control some analog switches inside the module to reroute the path so that... here it comes... the module can act like a DISTRIBUTER so that anything plugged into input #1 also goes to pots 2,3, & 4 for individual processing, which is how it could work for the VC ADSR... ...And the mode switch could be paced into MIXER mode, whereby the inputs for 1,2,3,&4 are unique, but are tied together "Post Fader" as it were, and identical outputs of the mixed inputs appear at all four output jacks. What say you, good people? And, yes, there's still space on the panel for four bi-color LEDs if you want this baby to suck up lots of juice and give off a warm glow :-) (I'm surprised no one had any comment about my LED doodad post yesterday...hmpf!). I can draw this up if people wanted to see it. -----Original Message----- From: JWBarlow@... I haven't completely absorbed this module from about a week ago -- but I do think it's a great idea for a general housekeeping (processing) module! JB
