i would have said i was familiar with most stuff of this vintage and on this 
subject but this one doesn`t ring a bell with me.  only mag i can think of 
offhand from the northwest was "numus west" but they were more of a "modern" 
music as opposed to technology mag. the there was "source" ( from somewhere 
on the west coast ) which actually did come with plastic covers protecting 
the cardboard "art" cover. they had the odd tech article and did do a 
circuits collection once but again, mostly focused on "modern" music.
if you figure this one out, please let me know, you`ve piqued my curiousity 
now !!!!
