How come nobody has complained that the LED isn't bi-colored yet? :) Just teasing the LED-heads out there. Hey, does the LED come on only with the switch, or with a jacked-in bypass signal as well? I can't think of anything better for the 'Bypass' labeling, it's just one of those cases where even though it says 'Bypass,' some part of your brain asks, 'Does that mean the FUNCTION is on or off...?' I thought about "In/Out" but the same troublesome chunk of brain matter speaks up. No matter, it looks like a great module! A definite 'must-have.' -----Original Message----- From: Dave Bradley [mailto:daveb@...] Sent: Tuesday, 04 April, 2000 10:02 AM To: motm@egroups.com Subject: RE: [motm] MOTM-820 VC Lag - Preview I had some difficulty coming to what the box graphic around the switch should say. Here's the reasoning chain which eventually allowed me to sleep peacefully: 1. The BYPASS jack is clearly and correctly labelled, e.g. a signal or gate at that input causes the 820 to go into bypass mode. 2. The switch does the same thing, and it's probably just a 5V signal normalled to the jack, I'm guessing. 3. Controls with the same function as inputs should be labelled the same. At any rate, the nasty red led will come on when it's bypassed, so it should be pretty evident what state it's in.
