I bought Acrobat 4, but it's no better at compression than 3 was. They need
to make that product so that you don't pick a global compression scheme for
the document, but rather say "use LZW on THIS graphic" and "Use JPeG on THIS
one..." I wrote Adobe and told them that, too.

I wonder if compressing it with Winzip & Stuffit would help, offering a PC &
Mac version.

I'll take another look at the problem, but I wasn't getting anywhere with
forcing the file size down. There are a lot of pictures in there. I could
compromise their quality, but I was really hoping we could make the catalog
look real good in print, better than web JPeG quality.
