<< i`m thinking about the vcf. most everything else they offer ( with the possible exception of the waveform processors ) is covered either by what i have or plan to get from "brand d" or motm. >> Hi all, Geoff Waterston is the guy behind the Enigiser. He writes the odd article for 'The Mix' magazine in the UK, including some DIY synth articles. The Enigiser filter is I think a double cascaded state variable filter made from CA3080s. The filter for the modular they offer seems to be a simple single state variable. Not ground breaking stuff, but a nice enough filter really. The Powertran Transcendant series and the Formant used this filter, and it does sound quite good. I think the BassStation also used the same circuit. Chances are that the upcoming MOTM SEM filter will sound just as good.
