This is actually done with Smoke and Mirrors*.  I just wave my hands over
the dead modules and everything will be as good as new (in other words,
before you spilled a 2 liter bottle and Dr. Pepper over it).

Is that Technosaurus purple?!?!  Also note the mystical ferries floating
about the MOTM.  They appear as glowing light blue spheres.  They are the
true power behind your MOTM.  You need one ferry sphere for every 4 modules
purchased.
