The thing that bothered me about it was how easy it would be to make a mistake (drilling the wrong hole, not lining it up when turning it over, that kinda thing) and then another list member pointed out some other considerations -- I determined that it would be easier to do it with my drill press from the measurements that Mr. Bradley had sent me. I have to admit that I could never have come up with the measurements as precisely as Moe did for me, and I thought about how I could repay him for his work........for about two seconds! After realizing that he had more MOTM than I do, I arrived at this "limited time offer!" "I'll re-drill any MOTM blank panel for... (have you guys heard of the late great Earl Scheib?)...free!!" That's right free -- I don't pay a damn penny! OK, it could get out of hand, so here's what I'm thinking: I'll drill a MOTM panel with any standard MOTM hole pattern for anyone (I'm hoping I don't get more than say ten takers), which would be "as close as I can get it" to the measurements given to me by Moe -- and that's a guarantee, or I'll give you back all the metal I drill out of the holes! The thing is, I don't want to pay for shipping (like I said, it's free to me). So you buy one, and have Paul S. ship it to me -- some time within the next year (very likely less!), I drill it DAMN CLOSE to looking usable, and I ship it to you for.... a song! Maybe some of you could trade a recording of your stuff for the (approx. $1 to $3) shipping -- or some similar deal. One might want to drill out mults, or Oakley, or Blacet (or other diy) type modules. I did this once before, and I'm sure I can do it better now with the most accurate measurements given by DB. If you need an impartial testimony, ask PaulBr: "This guy, I can't remember his name or how to spell it put some holes in this thing, we didn't get a chance to hear it or see it but it was #6, and I plugged this other deal into the thing and I can't remember or spell how it sounded but it looked pretty cool, and this guy who may or may not have had a name told me it really rocked, or maybe not, but anyway, Barlow's the dude!" OK, that's not exactly what PaulBr said, you gotta ask him. Thanks Shemp for getting the list back on track! JB a thousand apologies to PaulBr, your previous posts were great!
